The Expanse has been mentioned several times. I just finished the first season and have to say....you guys owe me several hours of my life. I kept waiting for it to get better. It reminded me of watching Battlestar Galactica in that everyone says it is good, but that is the only thing that makes it good in any way. I am a giant fan of classic science fiction, such as Asimov, Heinlein, and Herbert. I grew up with Star Wars, Star Trek, Buck Rogers, and the original Battle Star Galactica. With this background, I had high hopes based off of your previous pics, but find absolutely nothing admirable about this show. The writing is horrid. The acting is even worse. There are several dozen inconsistencies in the details of every episode. It would in no way surprise me if it was put together as a junior high school charity project trying to support B-movie writers, actors, and directors who have fallen on hard times. Watching this show makes me embarrassed to be a human. I am considering a project to bar this show from all inpatient televisions and ensure it is never shown again on any streaming service, as doing so would surely improve PHQ scores across all of humanity

I am a nurse of 36 years (critical care); a PhD prepared certified nurse educator; and a soon-to-graduate FNP student. One of my FNP preceptors recommended your podcast. I am subscribed and hooked. I appreciate the delivery of evidence-based, scholarly content, mixed with a great deal of fun! The podcast page is especially helpful for reviewing content and references. I recently subscribed to CribSiders as well as I enter my pediatrics rotation and look forward to delving into that content. Thank you for producing these excellent shows! Teresa S.
