Introducing Top Tier CME – Knowledge Food

Philadelphia, PA — The Curbsiders, a leading internal medicine podcast and medical education platform, today announced the third anniversary of its Patreon community, alongside the launch of a new continuing medical education (CME) offering for subscribers.

Since its inception, The Curbsiders Patreon has evolved in scope and impact. In its first year, the platform focused on helping clinicians “sound smarter on rounds” by delivering high-yield, practical medical knowledge. In its second year, it expanded into a robust professional community, fostering connection through live events, discussions, and shared learning experiences among clinicians.

Now entering its third year, The Curbsiders is introducing its most significant enhancement to date: a CME tier that enables clinicians to earn credit for the educational content they already engage with.

“Our audience has always been learning with us,” said co-founder Dr. Matthew Watto. “This next step allows them to receive formal credit in a way that is efficient and aligned with how they already consume medical education.”

The new offering provides:

  • Curated quarterly CME bundles based on Curbsiders episodes
  • A streamlined process for claiming credit through VCU Health Continuing Education
  • Access to an expanding library of high-yield educational materials

The CME tier is available exclusively as an annual subscription, with a discounted rate designed to simplify access and reduce administrative burden for busy clinicians.

“We’re genuinely grateful for this community—smart, curious, and engaged in a way that makes all of this worth doing,” said Paul Williams, MD, The Curbsiders, Host and Showrunner. “We’re excited about what we’ve built together so far, and even more about where it’s going next.”
