Celebrating a Decade of Knowledge Food for your Brainhole
Philadelphia, PA – February 18, 2026 – The Curbsiders Internal Medicine Podcast, one of the most widely listened-to medical education podcasts, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, marking a decade of delivering practical, evidence-based insights to clinicians worldwide.
To commemorate the milestone, The Curbsiders will be releasing special anniversary content throughout the year, including retrospective episodes, guest reflections, and new educational offerings designed to support lifelong learning for busy clinicians. As healthcare continues to evolve, The Curbsiders remains committed to its original mission: helping clinicians take better care of patients through curiosity, community, and conversation.
Founded in 2015 by practicing internists, The Curbsiders was created to help clinicians stay current, think critically, and care for patients more effectively—without the jargon or time burden of traditional medical education formats. What began as a side project among colleagues has grown into a trusted educational platform with over 100,000 monthly listeners, a global audience of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and trainees, and a reputation for thoughtful, clinically grounded content.
Over the past decade, The Curbsiders has released more than 500 episodes covering internal medicine, primary care, subspecialty topics, and medical education—featuring expert guests from leading academic institutions and frontline clinical practice. The show has expanded into a broader educational network, including multiple podcast series, curated show notes, visual learning tools, and accredited continuing medical education (CME).
“Our goal was never to be flashy,” said Dr. Matthew Watto, co-founder and host. “We wanted to create the kind of teaching we wished we had during training—honest, practical, and grounded in real clinical decision-making. The fact that clinicians have trusted us for ten years is incredibly meaningful.”
