San Antonio, TX – February 18, 2016 – The Curbsiders today announced the launch of a new podcast series designed for Internists worldwide. The Curbsiders deconstruct topics and explore the latest in Internal Medicine and Primary Care, providing listeners free access to expert interviews featuring cutting-edge topics in the vast world of medicine.
Founded by three board-certified Internists Matthew Watto, MD, Tony Sidari, MD and Stuart Brigham, MD, The Curbsiders aim to provide clinical pearls to supercharge your learning. The brainchild hit while Matt was searching for free, interesting Internal Medicine podcasts to no avail.
“Medicine is changing fast in this age of infinite information and computing with most physicians feeling overwhelmed and slightly guilty as they recycle (or trash) a pile of unread journals,” co-founder Matthew Watto, MD said. “The Curbsiders fills a void in the industry and bridges the gap for Internists that have a desire to learn but lack the time to find and read relevant articles. We all bring a unique skillset to the podcast and are thrilled to be at the forefront of this new approach to medical education.”
The first episode, which tackles the hot topic of Low Testosterone with Endocrinologist Dr. Jeff Colburn, a leading clinician and educator in San Antonio, Texas, is now available on iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-curbsiders/id1084922367?mt=2 as well as http://thecurbsiders.com/category/podcast. Matt, Tony and/or Stuart will host the podcast on a rotating basis, and intend to produce approximately two shows per month.
