The Curbsiders Appoint Robert Centor, MD Chair of Medicine at Kashlak Memorial Hospital

Philadelphia, PA – January 1, 2018 The Curbsiders has named Robert Centor, MD, MACP as Chair of Medicine at Kashlak Memorial Hospital. Dr. Centor is a master clinician educator, known for Centor’s Criteria, and was among the first experts on The Curbsiders Internal Medicine podcast.

In his role as Chair of Medicine, Dr. Centor will help identify key topics in clinical and academic medicine, as well as world renowned experts to be featured on the show, and of course, he will continue to be a regular on the show.

Dr. Centor is Professor Emeritus of Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Chair Emeritus for the Board of Regents for the American College of Physicians (ACP) and a retired Dean working part-time at Huntsville and the VA in Alabama. His passion for clinical education, focuses primarily on clinical reasoning and the thought process in Internal Medicine. The esteemed Dr. Centor has won numerous teaching awards and has co-authored several clinical problem-solving exercises as well as several clinical vignettes over the past several years.
